Information You Send
A name, phone number, or address entered into a search form is sent to the third-party provider that supplies the results. Bell Residents Directory does not keep a copy of those searches on its own servers. A message sent to the contact address is used only to read and answer what you chose to include.
Routine Technical Logs
The host may record ordinary service data such as an IP address, browser type, pages visited, and time stamps. Those logs are reviewed in aggregate for site health and broad use patterns. Basic analytics or advertising measurement may use cookies or similar tools when enabled.
How Information Is Used
Technical information helps operate the pages, troubleshoot faults, measure traffic, and improve the reference. Visitor lists are not sold, and individual user profiles are not built from the limited information described here.
External Resources
Bell and Los Angeles County records portals, libraries, archives, and sponsored search tools have their own privacy terms. Those terms control anything entered on an external service, especially a search box supplied by another company.
Possible Recipients
Hosting and technical service providers may process the routine logs needed to deliver the pages. Analytics or advertising partners may receive the automatic data described above. Information is disclosed when valid legal process requires it, and otherwise is not shared as a visitor list.
Security Measures
The pages use an encrypted connection, and logs are retained only for the purposes described above. There are no visitor accounts, so this reference does not hold a password or personal profile for an account to expose.
Visitors Under 18
The reference is intended for adults and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from someone under 18. If a minor has sent information, use the contact route so it can be removed.
Your California Choices
California’s Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act, is codified at Civil Code §1798.100 et seq. Depending on the facts and the law, it can provide access, correction, deletion, opt-out, and related rights against covered businesses. Because Bell Residents Directory keeps little information, a request normally means checking the contact mailbox and applicable server logs. Use the Contact page to ask. Records held by California, Los Angeles County, or Bell offices are outside our control; those requests go to the custodian.
Policy Changes
Revisions will be posted on this page. Continued use after a revision indicates acceptance of the updated policy.
